M. Leandro Heien
Andrea Hamilton
B.S. in Chemistry from Truman State University (2019)
My research focuses on understanding dopamine release in response to different stimulation parameters. In my free time, I like to play volleyball, bike, bake, and be outdoors.
Nathan Weintraub
B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology from The University of Arizona (2017)
My research focuses on developing new instrumentation and software to improve how we measure dopamine and other neurotransmitters in the brain using electrochemical techniques. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and playing tennis.
Chidiebere Ogbu
M.S. in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University (2019)
My research focuses on addressing drug stability and blood-brain barrier penetration of peptide based compounds and small molecules, using microdialysis, liquid chromatography, and targeted mass spectrometry. Outside of lab, I love watching movies and true crime shows.
Imani Ralph
I am majoring in biochemistry with minors in astrobiology and statistics & data science. I am interested in neuronal research but have a new found interest in epidemiology and studying disease spreads as well as modes of control. I aspire to be a medical physician in pediatrics as I am currently pre-med. during my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and watching shows on platforms like Netflix.
